Statement on the Manner of Using Public Waste Disposal Services
24 February 2020
Zagreb Holding Ltd., subsidiary City Waste Disposal, has started sending out Statements on the Manner of Using Public Services and additional notices with the aim of starting a record-keeping system and enabling the selection of the volume of containers for mixed municipal waste.
Statements have been sent to service users who receive one bill at one address in family homes. They define the volume and number of containers for mixed municipal waste.
After filling them in, Statements are to be delivered in two copies, in person or by mail to the address: Zagreb Holding Ltd., subsidiary City Waste Disposal, Radnička cesta 82, 10000 Zagreb. Alternatively, they can be scanned (not photographed) and sent to the e-mail address cistoca.izjave@zgh.hr.
If the service user agrees with the service provider’s proposal, the Statement does not have to be filled in.
We have launched the website https://mojotpad.cistoca.hr, which can be accessed by entering the payer number and the building number indicated in the bill. On this website, you can find the Statement in electronic form, which may be printed out and filled in. You can also find master data about the user and the building, record of unloading (since containers are connected to service users in the field, the service user will see a record of unloading on this page), record of requests for bulky waste removal, record of use of recycling centres and record of complaints filed and responses thereto.
Please note that filling in the Statement will not necessarily lead to a change in the calculation, considering the Decision of the Constitutional Court on temporary suspension of application of the amended Municipal Waste Management Regulation adopted in 2019 by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, as well as of other documents adopted in the City of Zagreb based on the above Regulation. For that reason, until a final Decision is adopted by the Constitutional Court, City Waste Disposal will continue to calculate the waste disposal fee as before, i.e. according to current prices.
Service users who do not receive the Statement on the Manner of Using Public Services at this point (who are not 1/1 users) will be notified about the Decision of the Constitutional Court and will subsequently receive notices with the instructions on how to determine their share in groups of service users.
