REEF 2W - Increased renewable energy and energy efficiency by integrating, combining and empowering urban wastewater and organic waste management systems. The project has 13 partners, while the implementation is coordinated by the Italian national agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economic development (ENEA).
Zagreb City Holding Ltd, Subsidiary Čistoća and the REGEA represent the Republic of Croatia, and the main objective of the project is to effectively manage resources through an integrated approach to addressing energy inefficiency, wastewater, and organic waste management. The total value of the project is 1,878,304.71 EUR, while the part of Zagreb City Holding Ltd, Subsidiary Čistoća is 191,000 EUR.
The REEF 2W project aims to offer concrete technical and educational solutions for the analysis and planning of wastewater treatment facilities optimization, municipal waste management systems and local energy consumption reductions.
The REEF 2W project is a three-year project funded by the European Union under the Interreg Central Europe program.
